Social Well-Being

Students with disabilities may also need additional support to develop social skills. The following goals and objectives can help students learn how to interact with others in a positive and respectful way.

Goals

  • The student will be able to initiate and maintain conversations with peers.
  • The student will be able to participate in group activities.
  • The student will be able to resolve conflicts peacefully.

Objectives

  • The student will be able to start a conversation with a peer by asking a question.
  • The student will be able to participate in a group activity for at least 10 minutes.
  • The student will be able to resolve a conflict with a peer without resorting to violence.

Personal Independence

Students with disabilities may also need additional support to develop personal independence skills. The following goals and objectives can help students learn how to take care of themselves and their belongings.

Goals

  • The student will be able to dress and groom themselves independently.
  • The student will be able to manage their belongings.
  • The student will be able to complete tasks independently.

Objectives

  • The student will be able to dress themselves in the correct Free Download.
